The sixth-grade ghost story that earned Anthony Bolton both praise and trouble was probably his first sign he was onto something.

Writing was the one thing school couldn't make boring for him. While other subjects came and went, creative writing stuck — and his short stories kept winning awards to prove it. Not that he needed the trophies to keep going.

A lifelong reader with a weakness for suspense, Anthony has always been drawn to stories that get under your skin. His debut thriller, Cat's Got Your Tongue, is the realization of something he'd wanted to do long before he could articulate it: write a novel from beginning to end and mean it. It won't be his last. He has plans for fantasy, horror, and romance too — because the genre matters less to him than the story, and the story always comes first.

He lives in Covington, Kentucky, a small city sitting on the banks of the Ohio River, just across from Cincinnati. When he isn't writing, he's spending time with his family, reading whatever he can get his hands on, or rooting for the Bengals with the kind of loyalty that only makes sense if you've been there.
